Service pricing

A thank-you price on myWOD As Rx for people who serve. US only.

    Who qualifies

    • Active duty, National Guard and Reserve
    • Veterans and military retirees
    • Military spouses
    • Police officers and sheriff's deputies
    • Firefighters, career and volunteer
    • EMTs and paramedics
    • 911 dispatchers

    What you get

Service pricing is for the yearly plan only.

    iPhone

    • You get one free week first, if this Apple ID hasn't had a myWOD free week before.
    • Then your first year of As Rx yearly is 50% off, at $17.49 for the year. Apple charges the $17.49 when the free week ends.
    • After the first year, it renews at $34.99 a year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.

    Android

    • Open myWOD right after you redeem. If you don't open it within 3 days, Google cancels it.
    • You get a 90-day free trial of As Rx yearly. It replaces the usual 1-week trial.
    • Google asks for a payment method when you redeem. You are not charged during the 90 days.
    • After that, it renews at $34.99 a year unless you cancel before the 90 days end.

    On both

    • There is one single-use code per person.
    • It works with US App Store and Google Play accounts only.
    • Prices are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies.
    • You can cancel anytime. On iPhone, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions. On Android, go to Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

How to ask for a code

Email info@mywodapp.com with the subject SERVICE. Please email. Don't use the website contact form.

    Include:

    1. Your group, for example veteran, Guard, military spouse, firefighter or 911 dispatch.
    2. Whether you use iPhone or Android.
    3. Whether you already have As Rx (paid, free trial, or free access).
    4. One form of proof (see below).

Joseph checks each request himself. No outside verification company is involved.

    What counts as proof

    Any one of these works:

    • An email from your official .mil, .gov, agency or department address. Send your request straight from that address, not forwarded. Or tell Joseph the address, and he will send a one-line email there for you to reply to.
    • A document with sensitive numbers blacked out, such as:
      • a DD-214 (any copy). You can also black out boxes 23-30 and your address.
      • an NGB-22, for the National Guard
      • a VA benefit summary letter. You can also black out your disability rating and payment amounts.
      • a letter from your department or agency

Before you send a document, black out your Social Security number, your date of birth and any ID numbers.

Never send a photo of an ID card. Federal law limits copying federal ID cards and badges (18 U.S.C. 701). Joseph won't accept photos of any ID card, physical or digital. That includes:
    • military IDs and CAC cards;
    • VA health ID cards and Veteran ID Cards;
    • the Veteran Status Card in the VA app;
    • department badges and IDs;
    • driver's licenses with a veteran mark.

Don't have any of these? Tell Joseph what you can send. He decides case by case.

    What happens next

    1. Joseph reads your email and checks your proof, usually within a few days.
    2. He deletes any proof document, and the email it came in, as soon as he has checked it.
    3. If you qualify, he emails you one code and the steps for your phone.
      • iPhone: tap the link in the email. Or open the App Store, tap your photo, then tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
      • Android: go to play.google.com/redeem, enter the code, then open myWOD right away.
    4. Go back to myWOD. As Rx usually unlocks within a few seconds.
      • If it doesn't, fully close myWOD and open it again.
      • If it is still locked, go to More, tap Go "As Rx", then tap Restore purchases on that screen.
      • This is not Restore from Cloud or Restore Database. Those replace the data on your phone.

    Questions

I already have full access in myWOD without paying. Do I need a code?

No. Some long-time users already have As Rx at no cost. A code would start a paid plan you don't need. If you're not sure, email Joseph and he will check.

I already subscribe to myWOD. Can I get Service pricing?

Yes, after March 1, 2027. Until then, please don't redeem a code. Email Joseph now and say how you pay: iPhone or Android. He will email you when it opens.

    • iPhone: you will get a code made for current subscribers.
    • Android: please never redeem a code. It could create a second plan and a second bill. Instead, Joseph will move your next billing date out by about 90 days, and he will email you when it's done.

I'm in a myWOD free trial right now.

Please don't redeem a code during your trial. Email Joseph and say you're in a free trial. He will tell you the best next step.

I pay for myWOD on Android. Can I redeem a code on my iPhone?

Please don't. Apple can't see your Android plan. The code would start a second, separate paid plan, and your Android plan would keep billing. Email Joseph instead. Current subscribers on either platform can get Service pricing after March 1, 2027.

I had a myWOD free week on iPhone before. What happens?

Apple gives one free week per Apple ID. If you've had yours, the code skips the free week, and Apple charges $17.49 for your first year on the day you redeem. If you cancelled and still have paid time left, wait until that time runs out, then redeem.

I redeemed my code, but myWOD is still locked.

    1. Go back to myWOD and wait a few seconds.
    2. If it's still locked, fully close myWOD and open it again.
    3. Still locked? Go to More, tap Go "As Rx", then tap Restore purchases on that screen. Not Restore from Cloud or Restore Database.
    4. If it's still locked after that, email Joseph.

Why is the offer different on iPhone and Android?

Google Play codes can only give free time, not a lower price. So on Android you get 90 free days instead of 50% off.

    Can I share my code?

No. Each code works once, and there is one per person. If someone you know serves, send them to this page.

    Why this exists

Joseph Lagor, who owns myWOD, served. Service pricing is his thank-you to everyone who serves.
